We can convert your client’s data to Adagio from Simply Accounting, Quickbooks or Sage Accpac. Past and current versions are supported, however confirmation is required. Conversion from other accounting systems is also possible, but the development time ($$$) will make this less desirable.

Here’s what gets converted:

• A/R customers, stats and posted transactions
• A/P vendors, stats and posted transactions
• G/L chart of accounts
• G/L posted transactions
• G/L source codes
• I/C items

Here’s what doesn’t get converted:

• Bank Rec
• Payroll
• Order Entry
• Inventory Control, beyond the inventory list

The cost is $1000 per dataset, regardless of the size, type or required modules. Additional services may be requested to convert customer/vendor/account codes.

Typically, the database is reviewed early on in the process. Tests can confirm that the final conversion will go smoothly. There could be duplicate documents or lengths that exceed the limits within Adagio. Sage ACCPAC is typically the most time consuming.

If the ‘live’ data is delivered on a Friday evening, your client can be up and running with Adagio on Monday. Of course that depends on other tasks such as financial statements, print specifications, installation and training.
